On April 1st, 2007, that’s right, April Fool’s Day, Grape Stomper Todd became another fool in the wine business and opened his tasting room. And we are sharing the fruits of our labors. Friday through Sunday, April 1-3, you’ll get four dollars off every bottle, when you buy four bottles. Help for Four Legged Friends (April 9 - 10)
April 9-10, 11am - 5pm: Wine 4 Paws! Moonstone Cellars will join with other wineries to help our four-legged friends. All tasting fees will be donated to Woods Humane Society. Get your free passport online or at any participating winery and then get them stamped each time you go tasting. Four stamps and you are entered in the Wine 4 Paws raffle!

Progressive Pairing Pairing Party (that’s 4 P’s)(April 30)
April 30, 12pm - 4pm Taste the best of the scenic coast. Harmony Cellars, Cayucos Cellars, and of course, Moonstone Cellars, have joined forces for a Progressive Pairing Party! Visit all three wineries and try a delicious appetizer pairing with one of their featured wines. We will be showcasing our 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon along with some very unique tidbits from The Singing Kitchen. Pick up a ticket at any of the three wineries. Just $15/$12 for club members.

Enjoy Your Wine Festival on the Foredeck! (May 20 - 21)
May 20, 6pm. Sit right back and hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip. It’s our May Papagallo II cruise and costume party. Come take a 3 hour cruise around Morro Bay as we pair some delicious gourmet delicacies from Chef Leonard Genteiu. Prizes for the best Gilligan’s “Islandwear.” We’ll pair tasty appetizers and our excellent wines, all with a Gilligan-inspired theme, $79 for club members, $89 for non-members.

May 21, 6pm, Saturday night, romance will be in the air as we present an elegant five-course dinner pairing aboard the Papagallo II. You may be served by Isaac the Bartender or Julie, the Cruise Director. You will LOVE it. Get it? We have another theme cruise! Come aboard, we’re expecting you! $135 for club members, $145 for non-members.

Accolades
The accolades keep pouring in like the spring flood waters in Cambria. As the sun is now shining on the Tasting Room, the glare from the medals we’ve been receiving are as bright as the sun! Too much?

Nah.

Bringing home the top prize was our 2009 Gewurztraminer, which you may already know, was awarded BEST OF SHOW in Florida. The 2007 Syrah has won a Double Gold, along with a Gold, Silver and Bronze medal as well. Our 2008 Fran-Jo won Gold and Silver medals, and the Cabernet Franc brought home a Gold, too! The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon earned 2 Silvers, the 2009 Viognier earned a Silver and Bronze. Plus our dessert wine, Adularia, has not shied away from stardom, winning 2 Gold medals, a Silver and a Bronze.
