Frequently Asked Wine Club Questions

Why the delay between charging cards and shipping out?

Customized boxes take much more time and care to pack.  You get to choose your wine, so we have to make sure you are getting what you asked for.  We pack everything ourselves, and you know how small of an operation we are!

What if I forgot to update my shipping address and my card is already charged?

We may be able to fix it.  Probably not. This is why we give you the window to make selections and change any pertinent information.

Also, just because it hasn’t shipped out doesn’t mean we can adjust it. Shipments get packed up in no particular order, and then stacked on pallets in our warehouse. Once the box has been packed we’re unable to change anything.

Shipments going to an old address will need to be rerouted, and that is a $20 charge from UPS (not from us - we’re just passing the charge on to you).

The best option is to have the package held for pickup at a UPS location., but you will need to sign up for their free “UPS My Choice” service on www.ups.com.

I forgot to pick my wines!  What can I do?

There’s really only two options.  One, is to have the package returned to us (again, with a $20 re-route fee from UPS), and then have the wines you want shipped out (with another shipping charge).  This is not ideal as you’ll be paying for shipping twice, as well as a re-route fee.  The second option is to accept the package as it is, and order more wine if needed.

Can I pick up my wine instead?

Absolutely.  Just let us know before the deadline specified in the wine club announcement email.

However, if you’ve already been charged and we are in the packing and shipping process, your box will be shipped. If you’re unable to accept delivery, we’ll have your box returned to us (again, with the re-route fee of $20).  You’ll still be able to come in and get what you’d like, but you’d be charged for shipping and the re-route fee.

Can I get my wine delivered on a specific day?

Generally, yes. Overnight shipping is typically reliable, but we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date. Ongoing labor shortages and an increase in packages in transit means zero guarantees from all shipping companies including UPS. We suggest having your wine sent to a UPS Store so you can collect it at a convenient day/time.

We will do our best to accommodate any special requests. You never know until you ask!
