About & Rules

Us Moonstoners love music.  What’s better than a nice glass of wine with your favorite song?

Occasionally, we hear a song and think, “That’s a great wine song!”  Sometimes the song mentions wine in the title or lyrics.  Sometimes they inadvertently mention the name of a famous wine region or winery.

We want to share these songs with you!

So, every Monday morning at 11am on our website and Facebook Page we’ll either mention a song or pose a question about a song.  Then you have to guess the why we think the song is relevant to wine!

Everyone has a chance to win! There are three ways to win:
1. Be the first one to guess correctly.
2. Be chosen at random from all the correct answers.
3. Be chosen at random if all answers are incorrect.

Your prize?
We’ll send you the song via Amazon.com!  If you don’t like the winning song, we’ll send you a $0.99 gift certificate to buy any song you want!

How do you enter?
That’s easy.  You can respond in the comments sections on the www.moonstonecellars.com/mmm website.  If you want to keep your answer secret from the others, you can email mmm@moonstonecellars.com , or you can call our voice mail line: 805-203-0505 with your best guess!

Rules:
You must be over 21 to play.
Winners will be notified on the Moonstone’s Music Monday website. www.moonstonecellars.com/mmm
You have 24 hours to post your answer. Postings go up at 11am (Pacific time), every Monday.
You can enter unlimited times.
There can be up to two winners per contest:
- One prize awarded for the first person to get the correct answer.
- If there are multiple right answers, one is drawn at random to be second winner.
- If there are no right answers, the one is drawn from all the answers at random.
Song title (or reason we picked that song), and winners will be posted on the Moonstone’s Music Mondays website Tuesday at 11am.
We must have the email address of each winner in order to deliver the prize.

Good Luck!!

I think you should list – Baby Got Back from Six Mix Alot. The verse “LA Face with an Oakland Booty” or the verse “Skinny in the Middle but much Back” makes me think of a nice Paso Zin. Not just any Zin but a Spicy Zin. This Spicy Zin can can be paired with other song inspired food like:

Pavo en Relleno Negro and Frijoles Negros topped with Pico de Gallo.

Wow, Sartain, you already got a knack for this! Well thought out, yet very sublime… Love the suggestion, but now the cat is out of the bag. Can’t use it. Throw me more suggestions on the down-low and let’s see if we can challenge the music-pairing public! Cheers, Bro!
