Headliner: Steve Mazan
From a U.S. Naval Submarine hundreds of feet beneath the Atlantic... to the Ed Sullivan Theater where the Beatles and Elvis performed. That’s the path Emmy-Winning Comedian Steve Mazan has traveled. After serving during the first Gulf War Steve traded in his bubblehead badge to be a stand-up comedian.
Since then he’s performed on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and won an Emmy writing for Ellen Degeneres’ day time talk show.
But of all Steve has accomplished he’s most proud of combining the two parts off his life and traveling to Iraq & Afghanistan over a dozen times to perform for the troops.
Featuring: Lee Levine
Comedy legend in the making since sixth grade, when a teacher asked,
“Do you want to do that in front of the whole class?” He did and won the school talent show (tying with two break-dancing robot guys).
Born in Norfolk, Virginia and raised in Marin County, California, Lee grew up on Woody Allen, Steve Martin, Richard Pryor, Monty Python, and relentless older-brother “mentorship.”
He started stand-up in San Francisco, developing a high-energy style that skewers modern life and pop culture. Lee tours top comedy clubs nationwide and can be heard on XM/Sirius Satellite Radio and The Bob & Tom Show. He is especially proud to have entertained U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Take that, Robot Guys.
