Tonight’s Theme: Dubious Qualifications

Andy Pickar

“Wise People – Past and Present”

Andy hasn’t always been completely qualified for his jobs.  It’s a good thing he’s had friendly voices help him along the way

Jill Andrews

“The Gift of Storytelling”

Jill finds a variety ways to give back to the world through art, friendship, and even storytelling.  Jill provides encouragement to us all to get past what we each may perceive as a dubious qualification to tell a story.  Think twice, Jill says, because each of us has a story that no one else can tell.  Thanks for the motivation, Jill.

Bev Praver

“I’m Not a Teacher”

Bev insists she’s not a teacher. Yet, through her musical lyrics, friends learn a lot from Bev and encourage her to write a book.  Bev gives the book idea some consideration.

Kim Miller

"My Stint as a Candy Striper”

Kim didn’t know what she wanted to be when she grew up.  Thinking she might have a future in health care, at 14, in Kearney Nebraska, Kim became a candy striper -- with a cute little candy striper apron, she says!  On her first day, Kim served food to patients who were not well.  Then and there, after just a few hours, Kim decides health care is not for her.
